Call for Abstracts
This year’s theme is “Enhancing Experiential Learning in and out of the Classroom” We invite all HKU teachers who are eager to share their teaching practices designed to enhance student learning through hands-on experiential learning to participate in our poster showcases. Submissions are not limited to Teaching Development Grant (TDG) project initiatives. We welcome ANY teaching and learning related projects in the areas of e-learning, assessment and feedback, curriculum design and development in experiential learning.
Don’t miss this opportunity to showcase your educational innovations, exchange ideas with colleagues, and contribute to the ongoing development of teaching and learning practices at HKU.
We are accepting submissions in the format of a poster. Please provide a clear and concise title along with an abstract of no more than 400 words. To submit, click the “Submit Now” button.
During the poster showcase, you will be given 1 minute to give a pitch, and then there will be time for the audience to interact with each individual presenter.

Poster Presentation Guidelines
The poster showcase will take place on 14 March 2025 (Friday), from 12:30pm to 2pm, venue to be confirmed.
Size
- A0 (841mm in width x 1189 mm in height)
Title and Author(s) Name
- The title should be the same as in the submitted abstract and placed at the top of the poster.
- The characters of the title and author name(s) should be a minimum of 48-point font size.
- The name(s) of the Author(s), School or Department, Faculty, and Institution should also be displayed on the poster.
